 This video is a portrait f Denmark painted in broad strokes. Traditionally, agriculture and fishing are important industries. Grundtvig and the “Folkehøjskole” (popular adult colleges) played a major role in moulding the attitudes and thought patterns of the Danes. We are also proud of our flag and our football team.
The video takes us into the countryside, where the farmer harvests and the cows graze in the fields, and we visit the bustling city streets.
We meet Danes as they go about their everyday lives, and glean a range of useful facts about family life, incomes, taxes, and the authorities.
