 The Religion of the Danes introduces in a basic way to the history of Christianity in Denmark. The film tells about the
activities and background of the Danish National Church, and treats the concept of charity, as it is the central message
of Christianity.
We see how the rituals of baptism, confirmation, wedding and funeral are carried out as well as the feasts of Christmas
and Easter are being celebrated in Denmark.
The film includes interviews with both believers and non-believers, and together these interviews give an understanding
of how most Danes practise their religiousness.
