Two Women on a River
A poetic documentary about the unusual lives of two women in Paris on the River Seine. A few years ago Kirsten was an ambassador's wife. When her husband left her she decided to change her way of living completely, and today she lives on a houseboat and works with drug addicts. The second woman, Fernanda, has lived on the river all her life, and through the years has become an experienced veteran of the river. Despite their completely different backgrounds, life on the river has brought Kirsten and Fernanda together in a close, life-affirming friendship.
